Fall colors Birdwatching Hike at Tamarack Nature Center
Join us for a guided birdwatching and nature hike led by Rebecca Wandrei from Adventure Within LLC. We will hike a leisurely 1.75 mile loop through forest, prairie, and wetland habitats while spotting migrating songbirds and waterfowl. The trail is mostly level and unpaved with boardwalks in the wet areas.
Tamarack Nature Center's building will be open and has restrooms, water fountains, and exhibits. Tamarack also features the fabulous Discovery Hollow Nature Play Area. Kids, supporters, and loved ones are welcome! We recognize that recovery impacts more than ourselves and want to include those who support us.
Please wear comfortable shoes or boots for walking and weather appropriate clothes as we will hike rain or shine. Suggested items to bring are a water bottle, sunscreen, and binoculars. We have a few extra pairs of binocs for folks to use as well, but if you have extras to share, please bring them as well! Tamarack Nature Center does not allow pets on its grounds, so please leave your furry friends at home for this event.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
